During 2006 we have constructed at La Charrue France’s first Lawn Bowls Green. It is a flat green comprising 6 rinks and will be ready for play on the 6th May 2007 under the auspices of the newly formed Perigord Lawn Bowls Club.

During the 2007 season therefore we will be able to offer the opportunity to stay and play bowls at La Charrue. Guests will be afforded temporary membership of the Club for the duration of their stay at La Charrue and subject to the club’s normal green fee (currently 1.50 euros per game ) will be able to play as much as they wish. Details of all club requirements, eg., dress, equipment, rules etc. are available directly from the club on request.
